Our new show week has begun and our top dogs have alreadyscored BIS wins.  The nation’s Number TwoDog all Breeds, the English springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor ChampagneSupernova was the first to grab a big rosette, taking both the Thursday and Fridayshows of the Idaho Capital City Kennel Club in Boise ID.

Peyton and handler Robin Novack fist win came on Thursday inCol Joe Purkhiser’s final against the Redbone Coonhound, GCH CH Eskai’s SirKasper, the Mastiff Jadem’s Oliver Twist, the Miniature Bull Terrier, GCH CHDytona VIP, the Pekingese, GCH CH Windemere’s Dusting of White at Pevyne, the Reserve,the Bulldog, CH Sweet Beach's Alan Runs The Wrecker, and the Pembroke welshCorgi, CH Byendebrok Enchanted.

Friday Peyton would impress Charlotte McGowan more than theRBIS, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Fields Bahama Sands, the Doberman Pinscher,GCH CH Caryola's Antigua, the aforementioned Mini Bull, Simon, the Pug, CHBrazos River Nee-Hi Back For More, the above name Bulldog, or the CardiganWelsh Corgi, GCH CH Mariel’s Harvest Moon.
Peyton’s 47th & 48th BIS of theyear should be good enough to regain the Number One Dog position ahead of theweekend.  We will wait until Monday to seeif he holds it.

GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm
Our current Number One Dog All Breeds, the German WirehairedPointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, was in Arcadia FL for theGreater Naples Dog Club’s Thursday & Friday shows. 
On Thursday Oakley was one of Sidney Marx’ seven finalists.  The others were the Afghan Hound, GCH CHCriston’s Enchanted, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Cambria’s Mint Condition,the Skye Terrier, CH Of Skyeline Captain Hook, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CHMarlex Classic Red Glare, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bandog Bayou’s The Warrior,and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Get Over It.
Oakley would finish day one with the Reserve ribbon whilethe Doberman, Vega, picked up her first BIS of the year.  Vega is a littermate of the multi-BIS winnersGCH CH D’s Remember When and GCH CH Cambria’s It Must Be Fate.  Congratulations to breeders Dr Anthony &Sheila DiNardo & A R White, owners Betty Singh & Sonny Wang, andhandler Daniel Sanchez.  We hope to have aphoto for you soon.
GCH CH Criston’s Enchanted
Oakley & the above named Afghan, Skye, & Minpin, wereback on Friday to see BIS judge Fred Ferris along with the Rottweiler, CH IvossSonny's Angel, the Dalmatian, CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight, and the AustralianShepherd, CH Golden Gait's Only Rock N' Roll. This time Oakley would take the top prize while the Afghan, Rachel,would take home the RBIS.  The win is the54th this year for Oakley and handler Phil Booth.  We will wait until Monday to see if it’s goodenough to hold onto the Number One spot.

The Mesilla Valley Kennel Club andthe Chaparral Kennel Club teamed up for four shows in Alamogordo NM this pastweekend.  The MVKC had the first two daysand Jacki Stacy had the first final.  Theseven making that final were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Ventures Boys N Toys,the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Barristers Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend, theRottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor High Flyin' Gladiator, the Welsh Terrier, CHMalvado Rayne Beau, the Havanese, GCH CH Bellatak McDreamy, the French Bulldog,GCH CH Imperiale Bellaridge Shady Harbor Patrick Dempsey, and the Beauceron,GCH CH Flame Noire Du Chateau Rocher.

Claiming the first prizes of thestop were the RBIS, the Golden, Tonka, and the BIS, the Havanese, Dreamer. Dreamerhas three BIS in 13 final appearances this year.

Dreamer would return on Saturdayalong with the above named Beagle and Rott to see Peggy Conger along with theEnglish Springer Spaniel, CH Winamere N Gold Camp Simply D Best, the Kerry BlueTerrier, GCH CH Tontine's Chance Redemption, the Bulldog, Newcomb's Konnie K,and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hill's Money Talks. 
It would be the Aussie, Cash,running away with the points while the Rottweiler, Pilot, would get the runnerup spot.

Sunday Betty Jo Patrick would seethe aforementioned Springer, Rott, Kerry, & Havanese, the Basenji, CHAhmahr Nahr's Lost Angel Gabriel, the Keeshond, Ruttkay Chance, and the SmoothCollie, GCH CH Traveler’s Pierce Arrow.  TheHavanese would once again pick up the RBIS, while the Springer, Patron, wouldget his first BIS of the year. Congratulations to breeder/owner Glenda McCain and owner/handler LyndaO'Connor-Schneider.

Monday Tim Robbins would closethe set along with the Springer, Patron, the Wirehaired Dachshund, CH TievoliRumors Oh Hail Yeah MW, the Rottweiler, Pilot, the Border Terrier, CH Bravo'sHigh Dollar Habit, the Havanese, Dreamer, the Bulldog, GCH CH Itsa Brix, andthe Australian Shepherd, Cash.   The Bulldog, Brix, would collect the Reserveribbon, and the Aussie, Cash, would take his second big rosette of thestop.  Cash is the country’s Number One AustralianShepherd with six BIS and 20 Herding Groups.

The Greater Humble Area Kennel Club was intheir suburban Houston hometown this weekend for their two all breedshows.  The seven who joined judge ThomasTouzel in the first final were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Dancin' Prelude ToWinter, the Redbone Coonhound, GCH CH CWSG Sidearm Jungle King Mufasa, theBoxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCHCH Alpine's Lonewolf Whisky River, the Maltese, GCH CH Chrisman’s Shiny ToyGun, the Tibetan Spaniel, GCH CH Shilo Time For A Good Time, and the Cardigan WelshCorgi, GCH CH Aubrey’s Tails of Mystery.

Taking home the top two prizeswere the Coonhound who got the RBIS, and the Irish Setter, Winter. It’s the firstBIS for  Winter and handler ChristopherKeith.  Congratulations to Christopher,breeders Georgianne Carney & Suzanne Menard, and Dr Silvia R Folts.   
Sunday theCorgi, Libby, would be the only of the Saturday finalists to make it to RaymondBay’s BIS ring.   The six newcomers were the German ShorthairedPointer, CH West Star's Calm Before The Storm, the Petit Basset GriffonVendeen, Celestial CJ's Ringmaster at Talus, the Black Russian Terrier, GCH CHZilya's Chicago Blues Fusion At Runes CD RN, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CHChallenger's Honky Tonk Man, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Oakrose High N' Mighty, and the Dalmatian, CH Nspird By M V Me BadBad Leroy Brown.   
The Pom, Zeus, snagged theRBIS and the four year old GSP dog walked away with the BIS.  We believe this is his first all breedBest.  Congratulations to breeder SarahKreilich and owners Travis & Benny Conboy & Margaret J Sylvester.
