GCH CH Chancellor Flirt's High Flyin' Gladiator
While the prestige and famous faces were gathered in Chicagothis week, the numbers were actually larger on the West Coast.  The Silver Bay Kennel Club Of San Diego packedin nearly as many points in their two days as Chicago did in four.  On Saturday  the seven dogs hoping to take home the pointsfrom a 1700 dog entry were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Trance Mission JPCunard Adventure, the Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, theRottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor Flirt's High Flyin' Gladiator, the Miniature BullTerrier, GCH CH Dytona VIP, the Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Chase What Matters, theBichon Frise, GCH CH PaRay Power & Privilege, and the Canaan Dog, GCH CH PleasantHill Magnum Of Samara.

Best went to the Rottweiler, Pilot, and Reserve went to theBichon, Dominick.  Pilot and handler PerryPayson have been among the Top Ten Working Dogs for the last three years and pickedup a Group Four at the Westminster Kennel Club show earlier this month.  This is the second BIS of the year for Pilot.

Pilot and Dominick were back on Sunday to plead their caseswith BIS judge David Bolus.  Joining themwere the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration with Traddles, theBloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CHAllaruth Just Kidding V Sole Baye, the Pekingese, GCH CH Dunkirk’s ImagineThat, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Briarbrooks All Rights Reserved.

He went with the Bloodhound, Kissy, as his Best and theClumber, Seymour, as his Reserve.  Kissynow has two BIS this year in five final appearances.

Before we get into today’s show reports I want to apologizeto my Dog Show Poop readers.  It has cometo my attention that a technical glitch prevented some of you from joining our “GardenParty” chat room during the Tuesday night broadcast of the Westminster KennelClub show.  I have very much enjoyedhosting the chat room these past five years and it pains me deeply that some ofmy readers did not get to participate. You have my word that any future events will have failsafes in place toassure everyone gets to share the experience with your fellow readers.  I hope that my readers will forgive the errorand will continue to enjoy the Dog Show Poop site.

We have 21 all breed shows in six different venues thisweek.  Let’s check in and see how they havebeen going.  New York fanciers are inSuffern NY for three shows with the Wallkill Kennel Club and the RocklandCounty Kennel Club.  The WKC had theFriday opener and they asked Roberto Clemente to choose his top two from theGerman Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Robin Crest Edelmarke Investigator, the AmericanFoxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Siberian Husky, CH Snowfire's HolyMoses, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me A Spot, the Havanese,GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Qbin Who's On First, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Rinchen'sBlazing Black Icon, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Get Over It.

The two he liked were the Foxhound, Jewel, and the Lakeland,Spot.  Jewel has been the country’s NumberOne Hound for the last two seasons and already has nine BIS in just 14 finalattempts.

Bonnie Threlfall had the RCKC’s day one final and her pickof the Weimaraner, GCH CH Doc N Camelot's Heaven Can Wait, the Foxhound, Jewel,the Samoyed, CH McMagic's Mojo, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Class Act ByHallsblu, the Maltese, GCH CH Ta-Jon’s Pawsitively Pawparazzi, the aforementionedTibetan Terrier, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Dunhill Celebration.

She chose a new two, the Maltese, Snapshot, and the TibetanTerrier, Michael.  Snapshot is anotherdog catching the Westminster Wave after making the cut in the Toy Group at theGarden.  It’s the first of the year forSnapshot and owner/handler Tim Lehman who finished 2012 with two BIS and eightToy Groups.  Congratulations to Tim and breeder/ownerTammy Simon.

Down in Tallahassee FL the Greater Panama City Dog FanciersAssociation and the Ochlockonee River Kennel Club Of Florida are hosting fourshows.  You can read about Thursday’sPCDFA show here.
GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici
Friday’s GPCDFA final was called by Beverly Capstick.  She chose her two winners from the EnglishCocker Spaniel, GCH CH Fieldstone Carousel Hell's Kitchen, the Whippet, CHBo-Bett s Quick Pick, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici,the Lakeland Terrier, CH Nanhalls Koichi H-Kel Terrydale, the MiniaturePinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH JadeEast Do You Know The Way To San Jose, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH WolfCreek Galaxy Of Merivern.
Her two were two of 2012’s Top Ten Dogs All Breeds, the NumberThree Dog, the Doberman, FiFi, and the Number Six Dog, the MinPin,Classie.  It was the eighth big rosetteof 2013 for Classie and owner/handler Armando  Angelbello.

The ORCKF took over on Saturday, ending the day with BISjudge Jan Paulk in the final ring with the Parti-Color Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Conquest'sThis Is It!, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Lokavi´s Battle Flag Of The South, theSaint Bernard, GCH CH Jamelle's Aristocrat V Elba, the previously mentionedLakeland, the Papillon, GCH CH Wildfire On the Record, the Tibetan Terrier, GCHCH Kan Sing Tenzin, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside TelltailCoco Posh.

She went with the biggest and smallest among them, theSaint, Aristocrat, and the Papillon, Greta. Aristocrat has collected two BIS in four final appearances this yearafter fighting his way out of  some verytough Working Groups.  Aristocrat was oneof the big media stars at Westminster, sought out by just about every mediaoutlet.  No wonder we think he is aDOG2WATCH.
