GCH CH Jamelle’s Aristocrat V Elba RN
The day two show of the Hatboro Dog Club ended a littlelater than yesterday’s day one show, but it was well worth waiting for.  Two of the day one finalists were not even entered today, but there were plenty of worthy dogsto replace them.
Kathleen Steen’s seven finalists were the German WirehairedPointer, Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’sPandora’s Box, the St Bernard, GCH CH Jamelle’s Aristocrat V Elba RN, theRussell Terrier, CH Goldsands Columbus, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCHCH We-Syng Royal Etiquette, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Winning Card, and theGerman Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch.

Judge Steen decided she would do her Reserve award firstbecause she did not want the BIS to seem “anticlimactic”.  Reserve went to the GSD, Capi, and the BISwas anything, but anticlimactic, as she chose a first timer, the Saint,Aristocrat.  The massively impressive dogdressed in a splashy, broken pattern coat, had put on a dignified, but spiritedperformance winning the approval of the gallery and the judge.  Congratulations to breeders Michelle &Jack Mulligan, owners Edward & Linda Baker and handler Melody “Snooki” Salmi
