Day one saw Merle Taylor in thefinal ring with the Irish Water Spaniel, Whistlestop’s Wind on the Water, theBorzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Akita, GCH CH CR-Wicca’sTrade Secret, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Kamagh Too Busy Bein Fabulous, theJapanese Chin, GCH CH Victory Spencer, the Standard Poodle, CH Del ZarzosoSalvame From Afterglow, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Woodstock's BelleStarr.
GCH CH Victory SpencerTaking the top two spots were thePoodle, Dino, and the Chin, Spencer. Wegot our first look at Dino when he went Group One at the 2012 AKC/EukanubaNational Championship (AENC). Mostrecently he went Best of Opposite Sex at Westminster over the 2011 AENC BISwinner, GCH CH Jaset’s London. TheEnglish import was the Number One Utility Dog in the UK and the Number ThreeDog All Breeds in 2011. This was hisfirst AKC BIS. Congratulations to breedersCarlos Renau & Lazaro Anelo, owners Sloan Barnett, George Linderman Sr,Michael Gadsby, & Jason Lynn, and handler Amy Rutherford.
GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor VintageGlamour Monday BIS judge Betty-AnneStenmark saw the above named Irish WaterSpaniel & Borzoi, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Catanya’s Latin Lover, theAiredale Terrier, GCH CH Penaire's Chip Leader at Longvue, the BrusselsGriffon, CH Paragons Sharp Dressed Man At Greengates, the Standard Poodle, GCHCH Penndragon Owain, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure atWyndstar.
GCH CH Coventry Allure at Wyndstar Her top two represented the ying andyang of the dog world, the Borzoi, Vintage, and the Corgi, Allie. It’s the first of the year for Vintage. Our congratulations to breeders/owners KarenCartabona & Karen Spey.
