GCH CH Gunthers Gussied Up At Edna The hometown Des Moines Kennel Club drew some of our top dogs to that Iowa city this past weekend for its two shows. On Saturday, the seven who made it to the end of the day were the ASCOB Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Hitrails Clouds In My Eyes, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundeleben Queens Armada SL, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol Veni Vidi Vici, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Gordons Bite Of The Apple, the Pug, CH House Poory JP YumYum Zerohour, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Gunthers Gussied Up At Edna, and the Polish Lowland Sheepdog, CH Swancrest The Power Of Love Eternal.
GCH CH Hitrails Clouds In My EyesThe two that Dr Robert Indeglia liked were his Reserve, the Cocker, Daniel, and his Best In Show, the Boston Terrier, Edna. Edna is the Boston Terrier Club of America’s 2012 Boston Terrier of the Year. The win was the first BIS by a Boston Terrier this year. Congratulations to breeder/owner Brook W Berth, owners Andy & Jack McIlwaine, & handler Jason McIlwaine.
GCH CH Gordons Bite Of The Apple Sunday, Edna, Butch, and the above named Dachshund, & Doberman, would join the Gordon Setter, GCH CH Sunrunner Veni Vidi Vici, the King Charels & Ruby English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH LTO Prosperity, and the Smooth Collie, GCH CH Traveler’s Pierce Arrow, in Bob Hutton’s final.
GCH CH Protocol Veni Vidi Vici Taking home the top prizes were the Doberman, FiFi, and the Wire, Butch. Butch got our attention back in July when he pulled off the hat trick, three consecutive BIS, in Southaven MS. Sunday’s win was his fourth BIS in 19 final appearances this year.
